Notater - According to "R?tisches Namenbuch", by Konrad Huber (published 1986), alternate spellings of the surname Conrad include: Conrat, Curo, Cura and Cur?; that the earliest mention of the surname Conrad in Graub?nden dates from 1447 in Flims/Flem (Imboden district) with the mention of a "Jannut Conrat", and then in 1498 in La Punt-Chamues-ch (Maloja district) with the mention "Nut Curo", and in 1502 in Fuldera (Inn district) with mention of "Jan Nut Cura", and in 1532 in Bever (Maloja district) with the mention of "Jannuot Curo".
