Notater - Thomas von G?tzow started his military service in the employ of the German Emperor, he participated in the battle of 1645 with Jauwartz in Bohemia. He was first married to Maria Sibilla Busch, who died young in childbirth. Second marriage to Kirstine Elisabeth von Uncken. He went into the Danish military service and died as a Major in Prince Georg's Regiment in N?stved. The von G?tzow/G?tzauw family is a German noble-family in the Duchy of Holstein. (Or possibly the family origins can be traced back to the town of G?tzkow in Pomerania? - Norman Madsen, December 10, 2003) Coat of Arms (V?ben): 3 fleur-de-lis (3 liljer).
