- The January 30, 1746 baptism of Anders Ipsen's daughter Anne Marie has a "Jeppe Andersen i Weirup" recorded as being in attendance. Considering his age (he died in 1748 at 56 years old), he is most probably Anders Ipsen's father. The probate (Holseg?rd estate, volume 1, page 47) for Anders Ipsen (c.1714-1756) mentions two brothers, namely Knud Ipsen and Niels Ipsen.
Knud Ipsen's the January 23, 1750 marriage record in the Ingslev parish register to Anne Kirstine Hansdatter of T?rup tells us that he was living in Vejrup. The couple later moved to K?strup in Brenderup parish, where he was a "Selvejer" (Freehold Farmer). Anne Kirstine Hansdatter, died in 1758 (probate held October 5, 1758). His second marriage was on February 18, 1759 in Ejby parish to Maren J?rgensdatter. Knud Ipsen died 1773 at 46 years old, and there is a probate from 1774 (Assens-Hindsgavl, registration June 15, 1774, volume IV, page 235), which tells us he left the following heirs: Kirstine, 13, Mette, 9, Maren, 6, and Karen, 18; and mentions a brother named Christen Ipsen, a farmer in Bubel in Ingslev parish. The fact that Knud Ipsen was living in Vejrup at the time of his marriage in 1750 would certainly seem to support the probability that Jeppe Andersen of Vejrup is his father.
There was a Niels Ipsen who lived in K?strup in Brenderup parish, as well. Knud Ipsen, and his wife, of K?strup are recorded as attending the baptisms of two of Niels Ipsen's children.
The earliest mention of Jeppe Andersen in the Ingslev register is in 1737. No baptism record could be found for Jeppe Andersen's daughter, Anne Marie (died in 1737) in the Ingslev register, so it would seem that he had moved to Ingslev from some other parish circa 1737. The K?rsg?rd estate held property in Vejrup, and is known to have held property in the following parishes: Asperup, Brenderup, Harndrup, H?rslev, Ingslev, Kerte, and N?rre ?by; possibly Jeppe Andersen had been transfered from one of these other parishes to Ingslev parish? Possibly from Brenderup parish, as a Maren, the daughter of a Jep Andersen of K?strup (the very same village where his son Knud later lived), was baptized in that parish on October 24, 1717. However, no other baptisms found in the Brenderup register for the other known children between 1710 and 1735.
We know that Jeppe Andersen of Vejrup had a wife, as she is mentioned (although not named) in the Ingslev parish register between 1737 and 1747. No marriage record for his widow found in Ingslev after his death, nor a burial record for the wife or widow of Jeppe Andersen from 1725 through 1776. Possibly she moved to Brenderup parish, where Knud Ipsen lived after his marriage in 1750; unfortunately, the burial records for the years 1750 through 1760 are missing from the Brenderup register. Based on the names of her grandchildren, possibly her given name was Anne Marie? The Brenderup marriage records are missing for the years 1708 through 1740.
That Maren Ipsdatter (circa 1718-1747) is the sister of Anders Ipsen is based on the December 18, 1746 baptism record for her son Jeppe, which tells us that "Anders Ipsen i Bubel, Christen Ipsen ibid." made the journey all the way from Ingslev parish to attend the baptism in Fjelsted Church. The fact that no marriage record could be found in the Ingslev register for Maren Ipsdatter and Jens Staffensen (who must have been married between 1741 and 1746, as an unmarried Maren is mentioned as living in Vejrup in May of 1741) would seem to cast doubt on Jeppe Andersen being the father of Maren, as he is known to have been living in Ingslev parish in 1737 until his death in 1748. Generally, though not always, a woman was married in her home parish. Possibly the pastor simply forgot to record it?

Note: the above baptism record reads "Jens Andersens barn af Ki?strup" - however, this could be an error, possibly should be "Jep Andersens barn af Ki?strup". There are several mentions of a Jep Andersen of K?strup in the Brenderup parish register from that time period, while there are no other mentions of a Jens Andersen of K?strup.
