There were no probates held for either Christen Nielsen Thustrup or his widow Agnethe Hansdatter Ancher. It seems likely that given Christen's advanced age at the time of his death that he had already disposed of his property. Given the fact that they are stated as living with their son (Pastor Nils Christensson Sylvan) at the time of their deaths, it seems probable that the couple had previously signed an "undentag" (retirement) contract with Nils.
"1000 Aner til en Skovg?rdssl?gt" (by Edvard Skovgaard, 1989) names them as: "Agnete Hansdatter Ancher", born c.1632, died May 10, 1707 in Barseb?ck, and "Christen Nilsson (Tosterup)", died December 29, 1706 in Barseb?ck, who was the Court Bailiff (Tingsfoged) for Ingelstad district from from 1658-1682, and from 1682 the District Judge (Herredsdommer) for Ingelstad judicial district (in present day Kristianstad county). And that they are the ancestors to the Sk?ne family-line of Sylvan, as they are the parents of Nils Sylvan (1665-1726), the priest for H?sl?v and Bodarp parishes in Malm?hus county.
Gottfrid Hintze (of Solna in Sweden) wrote on February 21, 1975 that he had found record of a "J?rgen Ancher" in the January 10, 1700 census (mandtal) of Barseb?ck, wherein he is named as an "Arrendator" (Forpagter = Leaseholder) of a "Herreg?rd" (manor house). In his marriage record of 1706 in the Landscrona parish register he is named as the leaseholder of Blessinge manor in ?stra Ljungby parish. J?rgen Ancher's first child was born in 1707 in Torl?sa parish, and the baptism record names him as the leaseholder of Trolleholm in Torl?sa parish. In an "ans?gningen" (petition) of 1709 informs us that he returned to Denmark in 1708, and that he was living with his brother "Hans Christensen Ancher paa Voermarksgaard" in Hesselager parish, Gudme district, on Fyn. Hans Christensen Ancher was married circa 1700 to Inger Hansdatter Krarup (died 1730), the widow of Hans Thomasen (died 1669) of Vorkmarkg?rd Hovedg?rd. Hans Christensen Ancher is named as a "v?rge" in the April 4, 1701 probate (Odense Byfoged XII fol. 230 a ff.) of his wife's sister Stuart Hansdatter Krarup's husband S?ren Poulsen Moth of Odense: "skifte efter sal. S?ren Pouelss?n B?ssemager" whose widow is named "Sigvard Hansdatter" and included as one of the guardians is "Monsr. Hans Christensen paa Voermarksgaard".
On May 19, 1717 "J?rgen Ancher, Forpagter paa Ryegaard" appears as a "fadder" (witness) to a baptism in the Lang? parish register; and on September 4, 1718 "Seigr. Hans Christensen Ancher" appears as a witness for Captain Holch's daughter Barbara Juliane's baptism in Lang? parish. J?rgen Ancher was made "Birkedommer" (Judge) for Hesselager judicial district in 1729, and later "Birkedommer" for Glorup judicial district in 1733. J?rgen Ancher died in 1734 at 61 years of age.
That J?rgen Pedersen's wife Karen Christensdatter might be the daughter of Christen Nielsen Thustrup (1622-1706) and Agnethe Hansdatter Ancher (c.1632-1707) is based on the following information. My speculation is based on the fact that J?rgen and Karen named a son Hans Ancher and a daughter Agnethe. It is notable that in 1728 "Agneta Anders Pedersens" (namely, Agnethe Jacobsdatter Sode of Store Halleg?rd) carried Hans J?rgensen Ancher's daughter Bendte to her baptism. Agnethe Jacobsdatter Sode is the daughter of Jacob Jensen Sode and Kirstine Christensdatter. Possibly Kirstine Christensdatter is the sister of Karen Christensdatter; and that Agnethe Jacobsdatter Sode was named after her maternal grandmother: namely, Agnethe Hansdatter Ancher? Further, the 1702 probate of J?rgen Pedersen mentions that he had given Niels Hansen (c.1663-1731) of Juleg?rd, 38 Slg. Rutsker, a mortgage (pantebrev) on April 14, 1700. Niels Hansen was married to Else Poulsdatter Ancher (c.1666-1747), the daughter of Poul Hansen Ancher (c.1629-1697) of Hasle. Poul Hansen Ancher is the brother of Agnethe Hansdatter Ancher. In Bornholm's N?rre Herred Tingbog a December 7, 1703 court jugdement on a mortgage given to J?rgen Pedersen on April 14, 1700 by "Niels Hans?n boende paa Juhlegaarden i Rydskier Sogn", which tells us that Niels Hansen was "svoger" (related by marriage) Karen Christensdatter. Niels Hansen (c.1663-1731) was married to Else Poulsdatter Ancher, the daughter of Agnethe Hansdatter Ancher's brother Poul Hansen Ancher. Which points to Karen Christensdatter being the cousin of Else Poulsdatter Ancher! If this is accurate, then the likely parents of Karen Christensdatter are Agnethe Poulsdatter Ancher and Christen Nielsen Thustrup. - Norman Lee Madsen, April 11, 2014.
